About Storebuddy

We, Storebuddy, are owned by Shine Storebuddy ApS (CVR 35663703) and aim to make it easier to run both online and offline sales businesses.

About the Product

Through our (Storebuddy) online web service, the Service, we (Storebuddy) offer an Application that makes it easier to operate a webshop.
Creating an account is free. Various services can be purchased additionally—for example, bookkeeping of sales and payments as well as payouts.
In addition to the Service, we operate the Website storebuddy.dk, where users and potential users of the Service can access information and support.
The Service is only offered to businesses.
All use of the Service is subject to these terms, which you, the Customer, accept upon creating access to the application.
If you represent a business, you personally warrant that you are legally authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of the company.
When you create an account for yourself/your business, you must accept our privacy policy and data processing agreement (see Application, app.Storebuddy).

The Agreement

By entering into an agreement with Storebuddy, you (the Customer) accept the terms and conditions.

If you represent a company that becomes our customer, you personally warrant that you are legally authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of the company.

Duration of the Agreement

Storebuddy grants the Customer a non-exclusive and time-limited right to use the Service. Data generated through a paid service is available as long as the relevant subscription is maintained.

Prices and Payment Terms

All prices are stated in Danish kroner and exclude VAT. When setting up payment services, you (the Customer) automatically authorize Storebuddy to continuously charge the subscription fee via your payment card. Storebuddy accepts Visa and MasterCard.
The service is not covered by the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, as delivery is digital and therefore considered delivered at the time of payment.

Termination and Transfer

If you subscribe to paid services, these must be canceled under Account > Subscription. A subscription can be canceled at any time up until the renewal date.

We, Storebuddy, reserve the right to use subcontractors, for example, for the storage and processing of data. A list of subcontractors used for data processing in Storebuddy can be found here.

Customer Data

The information you (the Customer) enter, as well as information imported into the Service via your integrations, is treated confidentially and will under no circumstances be shared with third parties in its original form (unless required by law).

However, your data may be used as part of a larger basis for statistical calculations—but never in a way where the data or the Customer can be identified. Statistical information may in certain cases be sold to third parties.

Your Access to Your Data

You (the Customer) have access to your account and associated data at all times. If you have not paid for your services, we (Storebuddy) reserve the right—without further justification—to close access to your Service. However, you will be notified by email 3 months prior to closure. During this period, you will have the opportunity to export your data.

Data Security

The processing of personal data, for which the Customer is the data controller and which is stored for use in the Service, is governed by the Data Processing Agreement between Storebuddy and the Customer. Responsibility for processing the Customer’s personal data is regulated by these Terms.

Storebuddy’s processing of personal data as a data controller is governed by our privacy policy.

Storebuddy may at any time amend and update these Terms and information about rights. The applicable Terms will always be available on our Websites. Continued use of the Service and/or our Websites after changes to the Terms is considered acceptance of the updated Terms.

Changes and Operational Stability

In order to offer the best possible product, we (Storebuddy) reserve the right to optimize, update, and modify the Service. We naturally aim to perform updates at times that cause the least inconvenience to you (the Customer). We strive for maximum uptime and operational stability but do not guarantee it.

Notifications and Marketing

We (Storebuddy) reserve the right to send you (the Customer) emails regarding the launch of new features, updates, etc. We also reserve the right to send emails and SMS messages relevant to you.

We likewise reserve the right to send occasional emails that may contain third-party advertising.

Disclaimer of Liability

All use of the Service is at your own risk, and Storebuddy cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from lack of access to the Service, errors, data loss, or similar.

We (Storebuddy) make every effort to ensure the security of your data. For this reason, all pages are SSL-encrypted.

We (Storebuddy) cannot be held liable for issues arising from circumstances beyond our control—for example, internet outages, power failures, hardware breakdowns, hacking, viruses, or other force majeure events.

Storebuddy is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent conduct. Storebuddy’s maximum liability towards you (the Customer), regardless of cause, cannot exceed an amount equal to your total payments for one year of using the Storebuddy Service.

Changes and Updates

Storebuddy may at any time change and update these Terms and information about rights.

Disputes

Any disputes between the Customer and Storebuddy shall be governed by Danish law, with the Copenhagen City Court as the court of first instance.
